EllisDon appointed as Project Management Consultant for Saudi SEVEN Al Hamra

The company will provide full-fledged project management consultancy service for the Saudi SEVEN project

Construction services company EllisDon has been appointed as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for Saudi Entertainment Ventures’ (SEVEN) entertainment destination in Al Hamra located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The project will offer themed attractions, exciting experiences, luxury retail, and diverse food and beverage options, all set in a unique, immersive environment.

The company will provide full-fledged project management consultancy service for the Saudi SEVEN project.

Construction work has already commenced on Al Hamra, with the main contract being awarded to Indian conglomerate Shapoorji Pallonji Group.

Saudi SEVEN’s focus on entertainment tourism

Public Investment Fund (PIF)-owned Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN) has revealed plans to invest $13.3 billion (SAR50 billion) to develop 21 integrated entertainment destinations across 14 cities.

The Saudi entertainment projects will include over 150 attractions, and Al Hamra is one of them.

Saudi SEVEN is developing Al Hamra on a land area of ​​more than 90,000m2. The project will have a built-up area of ​​167,000m2 and will occupy a strategic location at the intersection of the Eastern Ring Road and King Abdullah Road.

Al Hamra is expected to attract 6 million visitors per year by providing world-leading entertainment attractions, according to SEVEN.
