DGDA achieves 30mn safe working hours

This achievement comes in line with the company’s strategy to align itself with the regional and global benchmark for safety management.

Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) has announced that it achieved more than 30 million safe working hours, employed 19,181 contract workers, and utilised more than 1,200 pieces of heavy equipment.

This came as a result of the implementation of the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) department’s measures to mitigate risks and ensure the well-being of the workforce. The department employs an internal OHS Management System to fulfil the DGCL strategy.

The OHS Management System also provides the necessary protection for employers and on-site laborers from the hazards of occupational injuries, including offering them trainings to avoid occupational risks.
