The New Murabba Company, the developer behind the world’s largest modern downtown, has signed an agreement with Bechtel Corporation for Project Management Services for the masterplan and site-wide infrastructure.

The agreement was signed by Sabah Barakat, the Acting-CEO of New Murabba Development Company, and Jacob Mumm, Senior Vice President and Regional President at Bechtel.

With completion date set for 2030, the project is expected to add $48 billion (SAR180 billion) to non-oil GDP, and create 334,000 direct and indirect jobs by then.
