US-based Forum Energy Technologies (FET) has landed a $25 million contract for work on Aramco‘s onshore project at the Safaniyah oil field in Saudi Arabia.
The contract includes providing the design and engineering services as well as supply of four electrostatic desalter systems for the oil field.
Under the deal, the desalter systems will utilise FET’s Edge desalting technology, ForuMix high efficiency multiphase mixer technology, as well as in-house manufacturing capabilities at its Saudi facility.
Headquartered in Houston, FET has a major presence in the kingdom serving the oil, natural gas, industrial and renewable energy sectors through its unit in Dammam.
